"Roe" signed an affidavit stating that she wanted an abortion. And she went to Sarah Weddington to ask for help in obtaining one. I will edit with a link to a Right to Life publication which states these facts. These facts were never controverted until after "Roe" became the subject of unwelcome attention by the general population.

It might be more correct to say she says now she lied about the whether she wanted an abortion. Who can say if she was lying then? Only she can, and recollections are pretty pathetic things- in a substantive sense.
