Agreed, you could see it over the past days with Intel's statement about not being able to 'meet demand'... I posted on the CPQ thread a short while ago that I got back in with two blocks bought at an average price a bit under 20. Also said that stock could move 50% pretty quickly simply on news. We are starting to get a bit of news on the 'pig', and it's moving nicely. As for Dell, frankly I never thought the stock would move the way it did in 1997-1998, so I'm not surprised it's a laggard. Thing is, the Nasdaq is up close to 50% this year, so it would seem to me that a correction of some type in the near future has better than even odds. Thus, one might be able to buy Dell a bit 'cheaper'....

Regards,
John

Edamo,..OTOTOT - sort of <g>

Carley indeed did a fine job at the Conference call but it also helps that HWP is a large percentage owner of Agilent. <g> I just got out of some HWP Nov 70 calls but noticed that the option market didn't open at the same time as the regular market. Do you know what time the CBOE "officially" opens? Also it didn't help that HWP NY opening was delayed but I'm not complaining. <g>

(have real time quotes for equities and 15 minute delayed for options so was wondering about the opening time.) Thanks in advance.

<< must be the mm conspiracy to hold the stock down until they accumulate all they need....>>>
To expand on that, I think they now gone from accumulating
to holding enough to trade. I.e, there is plenty of stock out there,
and they want collect just enough at cheap prices so when the
demand goes up they can sell at a profit and buy again when it dips.
There will always be a demand for Dell with its performance and growth rate, but the last split provided a temporary over-supply.
That over-supply will end as more and more funds come on-line
( see Nas trade volume) and as Kemble and Drew buy more.(G)
Very shortly(I hope) this very-rested turkey will start to move up
and some of the old Dell performance be made visible.
Dell will not be under 45 for long
