jla, How do you feel about the 90 to 8 Vote in the Senate that struck down the Glass-Stegall Act..??? This Bill was enacted to
put firewalls in the Apartment Building, so to speak, by separating the Insurance sector, the banks and the stock market..
thus a downturn in any one of these sectors would not bring on another 29' crash of the entire economy...Very 'scary' to me. The economy is now endangered. Now banks and insurance companies can share computer biographical information on people to form blacklists. Reckless International Loans can now be stuck on the taxpayer, like the S&L Industry debacle. I wonder if it is time to join the Reform Party and get Lowell Weiker into this foray ;-) I cannot handle John McCain..wait until the Media get's into his drawers' Nasty....
