Checkfree had this a long time ago and dropped it, apparently.

Electronic Wallet

The kind I am talking about will allow anyone to pay anyone else with e-mail and a bank account. It does not use the credit card network but will use CKFR pay anyone network.

The first application will be a jv with a internet gift card company that will allow grandma (if she is on line) to include a gift of money with the card. The Yahoo network cost the merchant a 5% hit to accept payment and would not allow an individual to send money to another individual.

The charge to the sender is likely to be .50 cents. Other applications would be sending your kids money at college or the replacement of Western Union.
