It is interesting that the amounts match up so well. I suspect we will see 002 buying if they can push the price into the 80's. Their big bid was around .75 if I remember.

They also picked up around 30,000 shares the day before the big bid.

I don't think they are trying to make short money as much as push the price down to get more. They were the main seller above a buck and it could have gapped otherwise.

Pretty volatile today!

I can't pull my cert as it is in my RRSP and pulling would be the same as a withdrawl.

This is my first posting on this thread though I've been following TOM quite closely of late. I did some DD on TOM in light of its recent upswing and volume. IMHO your September prediction of TOM reaching $3.00 by Christmas is quite possible. The following is what the market sources said:

1. The subsidiary of TOM has been approved for listing with Hongkong's GEM (Growth Enterprises Market) board, a NASDAQ-like exchange. Its stock number is 8003.

2. It has finalized or in the final stages of raising HK$97 million through an IPO for 30% of the company. This gives a valuation of HK$323 million or roughly Can$65 million for the subsidiary.

3. TOM should worth at least this much since it owns 100% of this subsidiary. Based on roughly 20 million shares outstanding, TOM's shares should worth at least $3.25 a piece.

What do you think, John? Is it possible that we'll all have a Merry Christmas?
