Aol has a world-wide strategy. They have 10% of China.com and bought before it was fashionable.
This spanish deal you are talking aboout only effects AOL as to:
What portion of this growing market are they going to get?

This is not a ZERO-sum game.
AOL pumping on all fronts.
All markets are opening up fast enough for many companies to get rich.
Even if AOL chose not to participate in spanish market they would still grow--big time!
It is about execution. AOL rules inexecution.
