I am just now reading the Innovator's Dilemma by Christensen--I can see how it provides a very interesting lens for viewing the CDMA situation and recommend it. The key issue with all the HDR talk is that naysayers like Forrester say there is no market for high-speed data...just like there was no market for 3.5-inch disk drives before laptops and so Seagate ignored the market even though they had 80 prototypes 2 years in advance--created by engineers, killed by market and finance departments...somebody's gotta be first, and if q can nudge the value network along with some dollars, so much the better.
