I think your estimates are not unreasonable, but I mistrust that P/E's of 30+ can't last.

I agree that this is really where the argument lies. Will P/E's of 30+ be proven to be reasonable and long lasting? Since this debate is not only applicable to Intel but to much of the market these days, I will leave its discussion for a different forum.

I, for one, believe that the market is at the upper limits of its valuation but don't see any cataclysmal reversal of valuations either. I anticipate greatly reduced returns from the market in general the coming decade but still think that holding many stocks will prove profitable.
