That's the point. One must envisage the future and go with their conviction. The beauty of it is we all are free to decide our own comfort levels for risk and emotional pain.

Fortunately, the SEC doesn't say, "Oh, your net worth is only X so you can only buy Y shares of ABC Co."

And remember, just because one "professional analyst" doesn't ply or follow a particular company doesn't mean the fund she works for holds no position. It just means they aren't personally recommending it.

LU and CSCO are closer to sure things than INTC, NOK and MSFT, IMO. But they don't have the upside potential of Qualcomm, IMO.

But seriously, help me find a company that has less downside and MORE upside than Qualcomm.
