< Our desk is a bit concerned and believe me our compliance folks are all over the capital requirements of the writers>

The normal sellers of options premium in Q are tapped out... therefore this is an extraordinary opportunity to sell premium IMO.

By the way... DJ reports that ERICY is disputing the price paid to Q for the infrastructure division... sounds like they want a price reduction. Hope it doesn't have anything to do with royalies, etc.

Since they are not covering, they expect it to go lower. Right? If so, since they have so much riding on it, why wouldn't we be sellers here? up9+ now?

The volume has slowed from the torrid pace of Tues and Wed. Yes, but there are a lot of naked puts out there also. I am surprised that the premiums haven't come down given our "narrower" trading range today. I am covered by stcok but short the 370s and 380s. I'be be more than happy to see us go there again but don't see that happening.

"Our desk is a bit concerned and believe me our compliance folks are all over the capital requirements of the writers, Will be interesting to see what happens."

O.K. I added up all of the shares represented by all of the November in-the-money calls and the total is about 4.6 million shares. Assuming all of this in uncovered (which it obviously is not) I don't think this represents enough stock to push the price up all that much.

I'd like that to happen, of course, but unless I'm missing something here, I don't see the options expiration having that great of an effect.
