this article isn't likely to convince you, however, it does address one of the chief concerns when pondering a TLAB investment (read: the swelling optical wave that many predict will render SONET into chum).

(note: try and get past the misplaced text in the second and third para's.)

for the record, TLAB should begin to see revenues for its TITAN 6100 ("optical" network platform) beginning in 2000:
