Banning the Netscape Browser

I'm considering setting up a campaign to ban usage of the Netscape browser. With increasing frequency, webpages that work fine with Internet Explorer, are blank or simply don't respond using the Netscape browser. AOL and Sun have simply dropped the ball on this and the word is getting out that Netscape is problematic and best avoided.

I'm shifting all of my own development efforts to Java and Linux where I'll be using a vanilla browser. At the same time, I'm making every effort to inform people that they should not use the Netscape browser because it's just not compatible with a lot of sites. This is very disappointing that AOL and Sun would drop the ball on the most important product, bar none, in the effort to level the playing field. Looks like they are following in the IBM and Novell footsteps in terms of losing the application platform.
