Heinz, Took me a sec on your acronym, but I got it. I just had to think what goes through my head every day nowadays. <g> Me-thinks that the ones pressing for the relaxation of margin requirements may be exactly the same group that have experienced "steep financial gains" thanks to the majority of daytraders and their losses. By upping the margin requirements, I should think it would allow the newbies to blow up more quickly, perhaps taking a 2nd mortgage with them. And with what appears to be a blowoff occurring, there ain't much time left to get to the easy prey.
