I took the old wheelchair back and got another one. It's broken too but in a way that has no effect except on opening and closing. With this one her leg is supported out front. Like sitting in a rocker on the porch. Hell, they were out with .......the horses. Plus this young girl has a way with people. My hand gets near her leg and she's howling, the girl lifted it up a foot and a half so I could slide the CPM under it and never a whimper. <<I had "pain", and I can tell you there's a secret to drugs ~ don't run out. >> In her case that was the watch word. I've broken several bones, had wisdom teeth pulled, back surgery, burns and I've never wanted pain killers. Ok, I did when I was building the barn. I'd take a couple of aspirin and some whiskey but that was so I could move. At that time I'd had a heart attack and busted some ribs and my back was out. I was also plumb exhausted. I was digging post holes by hand and setting 16' 4x6s in concrete.
