That was me on one of the posts, Unclewest on the other. I meant to convey that money management firms and fund managers often have guidelines and disciplines to ensure they do not stray too far from the style of investing they sold their clients. A 2 billion market cap, in my experience, is one such threshhold which certain money managers look for. My point was that CREE is probably on a few radar screens right now and the managers are anxiously waiting for it to satisfy their discipline on market cap.

It is a little odd to think of some manager somwhere saying, "please, please go up in price so I can buy you". But it happens.
