Charles,

Re: "VIA processor"

Well a PR 433/466/500 is gonna be dogmeat in Q1 IMHO.

Not a lot has been talked about this new socket 7 SIS chipset with the killer graphics from Art-X.

Couple that with a 533-650 Mhz K6-2+ and you have an awesome gaming platform and dirt cheap to boot.

If I am VIA I would be real worried about Joshua.

The market wants high Mhz and high gaming performance.

Both Intel's 81XX family and VIA's stuff looks real weak to me.

Welcome everybodys thoughts on this.

regards,

Kash.

Charles R, In regard to "why you think VIA is a bigger threat to AMD than Intel?"

The answer to that is obvious so I will spare you the 10 pages I don't feel like writing.

I would suggest that you go to Edgar and download AMD?s last Form 10Q. Study it over tonight and get back to me in the morning.
