OT: Hartcourt Thanks, Jay. I must admit, "fools rush in where angels fear to tread". After taking a small position in Hartcourt last Friday, I jumped in with both feet on Tuesday, and got some more on the pullback today. A recent aftermarket press release about Hartcourt. The RB board on HRCT thinks that this will make the stock fly tomorrow. May be wishful thinking. Anything you find out would be appreciated! Jonas ********************************************************** Sinobull.com was Formed as the IPO Company for Hartcourt, UAC Online and Financial Telecom LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 18, 1999--The Hartcourt Companies, Inc. (OTC:HRCT - news) today announced that UAC Online Stock Trading Inc. of China and Financial Telecom Ltd. of Hong Kong (FTL) will merge into a new entity called Sinobull.com. Also accessible by its Chinese name HuaNia.com, Sinobull.com will have the most comprehensive financial portal on the Chinese Internet in operation by January 2000. Three major American and Chinese companies have agreed in principle to be part of Sinobull.com. With existing revenues from UAC and FTL, Sinobull.com is a profitable Internet company, a rarity in the Chinese Internet industry. Sinobull.com is finalizing an underwriting agreement for an IPO with a major investment banking firm in Hong Kong. UAC operates the first and the only nationwide online trading network in China, connecting investors with their stock brokerage offices via Chinapac, the nationwide packet switched data network owned by China Telecom. UAC is the first and only operating agent of China Telecom's Chinapac system. FTL is a 16-year old financial data bank providing real-time stock quotes and financial information on all listed companies in Hong Kong. It is also the marketing agent in Hong Kong for Standard & Poor's. Dr. Alan Phan, Chairman and CEO of Hartcourt said: ``Our objective in bringing Sinobull.com to the IPO market is on schedule. The underwriting agreement should be completed by February 2000. As for the effect of the WTO agreement on our market position, I do not expect much change within the next 24 months because the WTO treaty requires ratification by the U.S. and Chinese Congress, and our competitors will need plenty of time for Joint Venture negotiation and official approval. ``We should have occupied a dominant market position by the time the first competitor arrives. We've got the license, we've got the operation, we've got the unique market position, we've got a good management team. We will emerge a clear winner.'
