Actually, it is not so simple. The "A" shares are deemed to have been bought back by the company at about $8.64 per share. So if you bought below that price, you have a capital gain, otherwise it is a capital loss. The difference between $8.64 and $16 ($7.36) will indeed be considered a dividend.
