I loved "A Room With a View," too. I loved the book, and I loved the movie. I love the scene where the men are swimming nude, and the heroine happens upon them, both in the book, and in the movie, although they are somewhat different. I have no idea what a proper young Victorian (or was it Edwardian?) woman would think upon viewing a young man naked for the first time ~ and of course, Forster was gay, so who knows what he thought proper young women thought, or whether he was simply changing the genders, but I still like it. I'd have been dazzled, I like to think.
