Does anyone find it odd that ARBA is down after its split announcement? Recently all stocks have exploded to the upside on any sort of split.

>>i2...Seems they have a middleware tool

No, that is not right.

i2's solutions are based on planning and fulfillment optimization. Some data is sitting in ERP and some isn't. i2 finds the data wherever it is and optimizes the supply chain to create value. Crucial to ecommerce is the fulfillment piece and i2 has the franchise in optimized fulfillment solutions.

Middleware refers to allowing different apps to work together. i2 is a big piece of the pie, not just some glue.

OK... I don't think I made my point. I see the outsourced transaction based revenue model as superior to and ERP or I2, because those products need to be installed in-house, and there is no revenue growth after that when the product gets used extensively (other than upgrades, etc which are time consuming again). Put it this way, if I2 was transaction-based like commerce one, and i2 went into Dell as they did, that one deal would have made the entire company. I2 is a great company but its been around a while and Sebl eclipsed it awhile ago, imo because its so complex to implement. Wish I had some from the low of 13 though! That was only a few months ago too.
