Paul - RE: "AMD sets its sights [break even] so LOW !"

What do you expect one quarter after they lost 105M, two quarters after they lost 173M, and three quarters after they lost 128M?

Yeech, that is 406M!

"Breaking Even is like NIRVANNAH to them."

When they have lost so much money in so many quarters, it would seem like that.

BTW, it is Nirvana.

Re: Breaking Even is like NIRVANNAH to them...I wonder what Intel's stock would be if it would "Break Even" this quarter !

Sorry Paul, you won't be able to find that out until Q2 of next year when Dresden is on line. Intel's been doing a great job of making money, but 6 Billion a quarter is a lot a tougher a break even number than the 1 Billion or so AMD will be needing in that time frame.

Willamette to the rescue in Q3, eh?
