MILPITAS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 19, 1999--Com21, Inc. (Nasdaq:CMTO), a leading global provider of system solutions for the broadband access market, today announced that it received its first order from Videotron -- the largest cable operator in the province of Quebec with 1.5 million subscribers and 2.36 million HHP (households passed.)
This order for DOXport(TM) 1010 cable modems enables Videotron to offer standards-based products to their customers. Com21 has already started shipping product to Videotron, which will deploy the DOXport cable modem to service residential customers in the province of Quebec.
