My 2 cents... If Cisco were to take a run at Newbridge they would have to win. It would signal a hole in their strategy currently and the only fix would be a Newbridge solution. Nortel would be a interesting fit with wireless, ATM (core)and 3dsl. Geographically it fits as well. CC rating C- the sell side analysts gave up asking questions and the call was less than the allotted one hour. Guidance for the next several Q's was requested by several people only to get the "call back later and I will tell you response". I did like the sound of new distribution channel for the US. Good news about the 3dsl product vs Alcatel, much more functionality for only a little more cost. The new head of sales for NA was presented by name only, no background. Regards Glenn
