At this stage I don't know, the strength of this market is amazing. The Nasdaq has new highs every day and lots of stocks are breaking above the upper trend lines with accompanying PnF positive charts. I guess I personally would wait for a good indication the next cycle down is starting before shorting anything. My gut feeling is what you think, once we get the option related stuff out of the way a consolidation will appear next week, but I found that my gut feelings has not been historically my best trading indicator ... Nets are still short BTW. I found that when the market really breaks down or up the net systems have trouble, they work best with the normal oscillations, which of course they were trained on.

Patrick: Isn't the short Thanksgiving week statistically marked by a run on the long side?
