Well, in the grand scheme of things, I don't think the broker ratings on UPS this week helped them one bit.
Charter has certainly fared a lot better than UPS since their IPO debut.

CHTR did not open and soar to the moon, instead it opened and maintained a good base. I, for one, am happy it did not go the the falsely inflated levels of many IPO's. The insignificant drop that occurred was (IMO) the IPO daytraders that didn't make the big bucks they expected. Many of us, who are long CHTR, found this week to be a bargain and an opportunity to increase our holdings. Others may be waiting to see if it dips further. In the words of my new friend, Sy "....with the great expectations we have, a fraction of a point saved now would be meaningless."

I am looking forward to the months ahead and the excitement I know this stock will generate. I am looking forward to watching the growth of Charter. We have somewhere to go, with Paul Allen's dream, our money (paltry compared to Allen's), and not being king of the hill having to fight off intruders, this company is headed UP!

Personally I am very happy to meet new people on SI. We have something in common, Charter Communications CHTR. Our opinions may vary and differ, and that is wonderful. We all welcome debate.

Welcome friends to the Charter family.

Oh, by the way, I will post the lists a couple time a month for now, then on the first of each month. "The Next Generation" is still open, although the "Charter Members" is officially closed.
