I absolutely would love options discussed on this thread. I know it's risky, but buying OTM options when a company enters a "tornado" (or, from others who've told me about buying OTM leap options) the profits are enormous. I wish GMST had leaps for instance. But I will confess I have bought calls and sold puts on QCOM, bought calls GMST and JDSU. When ARBA got enabled for calls I wish you were around, Tef, I posted you here...in any case, I was considering 160 calls, I forget which month, let's just say April. Imagine what they will be worth in April. I didn't do it because I just didn't have enough sense of ARBA.

The problem with options I think is that the profits can be so juicy that people lose their minds. I believe there is an informed way to play options that reduces cost basis and is really profitable.

Teflon,

I'll raise my hand in voting "yes" to discussions of trading strategies (particularly options) on these companies. After trading QCOM options exclusively for a few months, it's a breath of fresh air to see the (comparatively) lower premiums on stocks like ARBA, which, due to their volatility, make great options traders.
