Have you considered Phoenix/Scottsdale? I really enjoy the desert myself. If you can stand the summer heat, its really quite a nice area. JLA

My acquaintance with New Mexico is mainly limited to Santa Fe, which is somewhat arty and touristy. I myself do not care for the Southwest much, as you may imagine, and Georgia O'Keefe is one of the chief beneficiaries of affirmative action criticism of the century. You should look eastward, at least to Kansas City, which is a nice place, and has a respectable, if small, museum, the Nelson- Atkins.....
