My point of view, and I share Mike's concern here, is that Mr. I and company are and should be concerned about this stock's volatility. Just as Mr. Chambers and his team at Cisco have so adeptly managed through the years, when your stock is your currency for growth by acquisition, and perhaps more importantly, a major piece of your key employee incentive/reward system, stable growth and predictability is far more valuable than erratic shifts of herd sentiment. I truly believe Mr I would prefer a slower, steady climb.

Not that I'm unhappy about this "adjustment" - we've all been v-nodding recently in agreement that this one is probably more fairly valued around $100.

Just MHO...

MikeB,
Just one very small correction before I leave the topic of the analyst upgrade. I believe CTXS management stated, "It will be mid-2000 before we foresee any significant revenues from the ASP market." I think you may have mentioned 2001 upstream.

PS I'm having fits with SI so I hope this doesn't post twice.
