Liking companies making products that handle lightspeed data. I need a list of companies like LightPath . . LightBridge, etc. Consider this. . .Fibre-optics works fine, once the data is converted into light. . .but when it comes out the other end. . .then what? There will be an increasing need for conversion into various formats. . . And consider this. . .the broadband internet aka/Next-Generation Internet will NOT run on the current internet specification. There will be a need for much faster servers. . . "hello, SGI?" . . there will be a need for faster routers. . . "Lucent, will you take my old Cisco routers in trade for your ultra high-speed direct optical routers?" . . . there will be a need for various products at LIGHTspeed. . . take a look at the credentials of the new CEO of LightPath. . . I am impressed and curious as to what is around the bend with this and other such companies. Rande Is
