as the world turns, it's like that every year, Last year I told 3. where is he anyhow? That I thought this year was going to be better then last year, and it was. This time I'm saying that next year will not be as good as this year. I believe the B2C sites will cool, B2B will be hot still, but the software companies that supply both B2B and B2C will be still hot. ASP will something new to watch and the arm merchants to the net, network companies, semiconductor (BRCM, CNTX, etc etc> Optical companies, will continue to out perform. Wireless will still be hot, development to watch in the wireless sector are Bluetooth, the roll out of HDR from QCOM , VOFDM from CSCO and portals for small foot-print devices. There will be a browser war for cell phones, PHCM will be attack by MSFT and SPYG. I mentioned optical above, fiber optics has the potential to strip away layers, LU just came out with a optical router, CSCO will have to match this if they really want to be a player with the telcos. xDSL is now ready to shine with the lineshareing decision yesterday, names to watch there are AWRE, COVD, CMTN, RTHM.
