... the valuations in the other big cap techs are truly scaring me...

You're not alone. I too feel that the pillars of my portfolio have reached levels beyond prudent. I'm not selling for two reasons: The persistence of insanity is difficult to measure; and the tax-man's bite is certain and severe. What to do: Reduce margin debt and raise a little 'opportunity knocks' cash. Also, it's probably a good idea to prepare mentally for a roller-coaster ride as the swing investors whip-saw from terror to euphoria and back again. Each wind-passing cheek-lift of Jackson will fuel the panic. Hearts will flutter and breath will gasp for weeks and months from now, and this will continue until some new cause for alarm appears to pre-occupy the media and the gullable.

Reminds me of an old saying "This too will pass."

Cheers, PW.

P.S. I do agree that previously we've seen Microsoft bobbing like a cork on the tides of change, but today, we see Microsoft mired in their own special pickle. How well they handle this challenge will have a profound impact on my, and many others' portfolio. How well we, as investors, exploit the opportunities presented today will determine whether today's events will be seen, from some future vantage point, as a period of pending disaster or reward.

Cheers, PW.
