That way they can pleasantly surprise the shareholders...er fans. You hit on something that Joe is probably the last one to figure out - this is a big business, no, this is a huge business and should be run as such. To succeed, you have to have a better product than your competition. If an employee doesn't perform, there is someone right behind to take his/her place. College football is is just like the NFL - these players are paid, like it or not. Hell, Joe still doesn't think fans have a right to boo, of course, he doesn't have to pay for tickets, parking, and $2 for a bottle of water! I know and appreciate what Paterno has done for PSU football and College football in general and I'm also aware that he has donated much of his time & money back to the University and for all of that I will be forever grateful but there is an end to every story and with it a new beginning. Gary BTW, I'll be shocked if Mitchell & Harris don't start.
