>> groundwork that must be done to work successfully in China

You're right there, John. I have a neighbour who was a management consultant at the executive level with the Canadian government for 30 years and left to start a business advising Canadian businesses on how to deal with China.

His overall comment about his experiences so far has been the length of time it takes to get anything approved. Unfortunately, our chat was very brief and we didn't get to speak about the partnerships and contracts that Zi has strung together the past few months.

Incidentally for anyone who has access to the Financial Post, there was a photo of Michael Lobsinger in yesterday's edition.

John, I agree, I`ve been following their developments since early 94`. One point I would like to mention is the articles following WTO China deal with US say deals can be done at a 49% partnership with China. Let it be known Lobsinger earned shareholders a JV prior before WTO political deal and also did it on a 15% China ownership deal. Excellent PR and negotiations for Lobsinger.

I do remember, its been a long time -g-.

My company does business in China and I do know the amount of long term consistent effort that has to be applied to get a relationship going. Its a lot of work but if done correctly it pays dividends.
