Snyder Communications Inc.'s (SNC, news, msgs) Internet business division doesn't have sufficient cash on hand to fund its operations through the end of 1999... Had CIRC been IPOed, rather than spunoff as a tracking stock, this would not have been the scenario. Clearly, there would have been plenty of cash. SNC knew this was coming. Makes the whole deal a bit smelly, IMO.

CIRC >> Lack of sufficient funding If this is true then we may see sharp decline for time being until they find sufficient finance going forward. I tried reaching IR at Circle but no one is answering phone calls at their Main number/IR guy's desk. Anyone happen to talk to IR? Looks like news must be true otherwise volume can't be so high. Dust needs to be settled, I am staying away from CIRC for time being. Just my views.
