Bill, should a transcript surface confirming the remarks Dubya is reported to have made (ie that he would not knowingly appoint a homosexual as an ambassador or department head, though he wouldn't fire one), I am bemusedly preparing myself to hear that liberal agents have doctored the transcript or that liberal agents hypnotized Bush before he spoke or that a devilishly clever liberal ventriloquist was hidden behind the curtain!!!

You wouldn't hear that from me and I doubt Bill either. But I do find it rather odd you are willing to "convict" or "judge" W. without the benefit of having seen exactly what he said. JLA

I responded to your personal nastiness. If you'd like to have a discussion about Bush's viewpoints, I'm game. But if you prefer to come in here and insinuate that people are unwilling to answer hard questions or that we don't know how to read a quote, you will be called on it.

Good decision. Don't let the door knob hit you in the tousch on the way out. TD
