Kind of a left field statement. Why do you see no way that they can scale? That makes no sense, IMO. Particularly Interliant, with several years of hosting experience and an amazing technical infrastructure, has the ability to scale to whatever capacities are necessary. Considering that the "customer" is the middle tier business, this idea that they must serve "millions" of customers is kind of off base as well. Perhaps millions of log-ons at some point, but the customers are bundled, and therefore not ever necessarily in the millions.
Interliant has a well established facility here in the Houston area, with physical security second to none, and a partnership plan that is ahead of its time. I like this one and EBAS, although EBAS does not have the physical infrastructure that Interliant has had in place for years now. INIT will emerge, IMO, as the leader, and the others will follow. As far as being purchased by Telcom - probably not, this early in the game. These guys will be allowed to mature and develop for a few years.
