Z, Norton does all this and more and does it better. Read up on it here symantec.com Once you've defragmented your hard disk with Norton, you won't go back to the Windows utility. Much faster, too. I also like WinDoctor which finds and fixes Windows problems. Finally, the Norton System Doctor window gives you a read on just about any PC vital sign you want. An antivirus program is included, so everything comes from the same vendor. Oh, Cleansweep/Smartsweep can monitor software installation. Very handy if you install a program without its own uninstall facility. Gottfried
