Good quote from the boys next door at Circle T today: "This market feels like a party where everyone knows it's last call, the cops are on the way, but they don't want to be the first to leave." I'm not a huge drinker, but i get the image pretty clearly. CM had a good wav file for the above this am. NN, I've been on the street for about as long as you have and i talk to my pop every day since he's the only manager around that I know that has lived through SEVERAL awful bear markets but accepts the rationale behind paying a high pe for sustainable high growth. My comfort is the following: When we get the much deserved violent and god-awful correction, the highest quality companies will be the first to recover and the stupid irrational profitless nonsense like red hat, cflo and other junk will die the withering death they so deserve. But we're a buy and hold, hate paying commissions, and hate paying uncle sam type shop, somewhat of a roach motel philosophy of investing.... if we can't call the top and we can't call the bottom, we might just as well hang on for the ride. feelingmoreaggravatedinabullmarketthanabearmarketTD
