I think I recognize the pattern from earlier encounters on the feelings thread, which I have left because of the odd argument-ethic newly introduced there. So I shall depart this argument, too. Newly introduced? Let me ask you E. (because I truly do not know) did you consider the treatment of Neocon or Michael M. by some on feelies not to be part of that "newly introduced" argument ethic which you find repugnant at this juncture? I did not follow the thread very closely and did not read many of the posts until recently but it seems to me the ethic you complain of was not newly introduced. Of course, that's just my opinion. JLA
