JC -

from CC -

WIND's 200K share stake in LBRT was acquired for $2M, represents about $20M of the investment line at the time of the Q3 report, and is currently worth more than $30M in paper value. Producing real products seems hardly worth the trouble. -g-

>>Some interesting comments on I2O.
- Total royalties for the quarter were 1.3 million.
- That's a 435% growth rate year/year.<<

I gather from this that $1.3 million is purely from i960 (last Q's was something like $450K- which means we are beginning to see some hypergrowth). Recalling from last CC, royalties from StrongArm are fixed at $700,000 per quarter, moving from fixed to per unit basis from next year on. Wonder why there were no comments on the I2O revenues from StrongArm - is this likely to diminish?

I was disappointed at St.Dennis's performance at the CC. He showed a lot of hesitation and certainly did not exude the confidence of an Abelman. He had to defer to others for some basic questions for which he should know the answers by now. His appointment still baffles me. I thought JF was looking for somebody with a lot of internet savvy.

After all the upbeat comments on Tornado for MS in the previous CCs, practically nothing was mentioned this time around. Is it not going as well as anticipated? - probably way too early to tell.

Erwin

Also said 960 was $550k +/-. That leaves 750k for StrongArm which is Intel's minimum commitment. Does anyone have notes from the last cc about how long that committment lasts?

Very positive about I2O intermediate and long term -- a little worried for next quarter.

Everything else coming together!
