What would it take to get DISH on the list?

Only one competitor, DirecTV, and they're a part of GMH

OT OT. for anyone..

This may seem like a silly question but over the years
I have started several brokerage accounts (schwab, discover,
etrade, brown, and preferred capital) and now have my
dough spread thinly all over the place. I would like to
know if there are any significant risks in consolidating
everything into one account..or if there are any
significant advantages also..

chris.. coming to a great thread for a great answer!

DownSouth,

<< Are you guys making Gorilla or royalty nominations? >>

Geoffrey A. Moore identified the sector and made the Gorilla nomination in the FM. I presume that puts it in play here. Seems to be gone from the RFM. Unfortunately I don't have the FM (although I have a used copy on order specifically to examine his original thoughts) only the tapes.

<< I encourage you to make nomination speeches with GG criteria as your outline >>

I'm redoing my DD on this sector in general and RSAS in particular. Its a work in progress and I'm not ready to present it here yet. In the interim I asked my esteemed threadmates this question in my post 10681:

>> Does anyone here have any insight or opinions about this sector (IT/IS) and Geoff's original picks?

Check Point (CHKPF)
Cylink (CYLK)
Network Associates (NETA)
Security Dynamics (SDTI) Now RSAS <<

Perhaps you have some insights? I ask because you hold QCOM and NTAP and consequently you might be interested in the related critical nature of data security and PKI to wireless data and data storge. If not (and if you've got that RFP out the door) perhaps you could take a moment and paraphrase the FM relative to how Geoff treated the sector and SDTI/RSA. If you don't have the time I fully understand, but there may be some other thread denizens that are following the sector and might comment.

If after some more research, I am able to put together a properly organized presentation of the sector and/or RSAS for this thread, be assured that I will do so.

I appreciate "sand wedge" suggesting MCSW be included in a revised sector listing.

- Eric -

PS: << Gorilla or royalty >> RSAS is both a platform play and a royalty play.

Love that JDSU (its almost cheerleading time)
