<<AOL is the gorilla that would take over the world. Why so much talk over there of a deal with ATHM?

For one...I think it is inevitable, and therfor it is talked about.

Also, I don't think ATHM is a threat at all to aol.....Too may ways to go wireless, and aol is, and will be in the middle no matter what.

The fact of the matter is, businesses...technolgies..clamour to join forces with aol. They indeed are the true gorilla.

As far as aquiring ATHM.....perception is a key. Shareholders want it.....aol wants whats best for shareholders. AOL will get access to pipes one way or another. T knows this...T, like all others, would rather have aol on their side with those 20 million sets of eyeballs......AOL would rather do things the easy way then the hard way.

Consolidation is a key. If you remain solo, you are left in the dust.....If your gonna merge forces...merge with the best.

AOL signed up more users last qtr then MSN has as total users...is this not correct ?

Have a great weekend

"Why so much talk over there of a deal with ATHM?"

Because a merger/deal between AOL and ATHM would rocket AOL to another stock split within 3 months.

Good luck,
