DownSouth, I understand your note about CNBC's Steve Harmon.

I noticed an interesting development in an interview Steve had with Inktomi CEO David Peterschmidt yesterday. Steve asked "What are you doing now that Cisco and others are entering your market?" Peterschmidt stated that "We differ from Cisco and NetApp because we offer the only software solution for caching." He made this statement just a few days after INKT announced that it was going to offer an appliance solution to the enterprise market. I guess he is still focused on the "softer" side of things.

This also marks the first time that he has mentioned NTAP as a competitor. NTAP must be on his mind in order for him to mention them.

It is even encouraged. I almost NEVER see any positive comments about NTAP on CNBC unless they are quarterly reports. Even those appear to garner only a brief comment.
