I just stepped through part of RETK's WebTrak Personal tutorial. It's very impressive. It is an online supply chain management package.

I'm getting excited about Retek as an investment, because it's the first B-to-B company I've come across with a service/product offering that I actually understand and for which I can foresee a business benefit.

Several companies involved in a manufacturing process can subscribe to Retek's service and coordinate/schedule complex manufacturing and logistics tasks. Every company that is involved in the process can monitor the other companies' activities. WebTrak notifies all parties of pending deadlines and alerts its subscribers if some process is late.

This type of project management software is common within a company, but not across all companies in a manufacturing process.

Here are a couple decent summary pages from Retek's retail.com site:

How does Web Trak work?

What is an "e-service"

Web Trak is subscription based, so Retek should enjoy a growing revenue stream as it attracks more companies.
