Paul-Re:"Joe Osha - please take note."

Careful there...Osha and other ANALysts will interpret this sale to be a desperate attempt to prop up what will certainly be poor 4th Qtr results!

Paul,

A new prediction. The analysts seem to have been proven wrong when using a Y2K sales slowdown to downgrade technology stocks. So, I predict that the next Intel downgrade will be because "Intel is benefiting in the 4th Q from year end excessive BUYING because of Y2K, that it is a one time event, and the 1st Q will be soft (even softer because of the huge sales in the 4th Q)".

Should I send my resume to ML (I'm starting to think like those guys)?

John

The sales of the stock won't make a difference to Intel's stock at the time of the earnings. The investment community is smart enough to discount one time earning such as sales of stock.
