I wonder how many of today's buyers were mutual funds who bought at $110 and more when everyone was still exuberant about IBM, and sold at a loss in September/October. I find it interesting that IBM slid for about a month before reaching its lows on Oct 21, which was 29 days ago.

Was this just a huge tax loss sale???? It would explain why the analysts maintained all their largely positive ratings on the company.

What can I say except I calls them as I sees them, I still believe that they will be worthless, I didn't say the stock wouldn't head up though. In fact #5617 I said I thought the stock would hit 90 which it did, I'm bullish, but not that much that quickly. Most importantly my advice is worth exactly what you pay for it. Better luck next time!!

Jim,

this is a thread where fellow members express their fear,
joy or disappointment, and sometimes give good or bad advice. Its is sad that you dumped your calls. Next time
you will do better using your own head! I have been there!

Good luck

Yaacov
