I've already put in my GTC order for FHTV and the idea is to pick a price so low you think it won't execute. If you buy at say 3/16 (which is possible, I think MG did that) you can find yourself in a profit very quickly since the stock is so volatile. If you chased it and bought it where everybody else bought it then yes you would be stuck.

I think MG took profits in FHTV twice in the last 2 weeks or so . . . the key is to buy low. If you can't get the price you want there's always another stock. There's lots of tax loss selling going on right now so lowballing seems the only sure way to make a profit quickly.

"you almost have to place your GTC sell order in advance .... and pick a price
you think will execute."

That is exactly what I did, and I didn t watch it move. That is why I "only" made 80% instead of 300%.
