I am long on this stock also.
I would think that they need to prove they can make a go of the movie business before they can go off and start selling kitchen sinks.
And right now, bigstar is doing very well in the movie business.
Have you seen the October stats for Bigstar?
Bigstar had 1.4million unique visitors and the "buy rate" was 6.2%. (86,800 people) Let's assume (fairly conservatively) that the average spend was $25.
$25 x 86,800 = $2,170,000.
So, even without a Christmas rush, we would have sales of $2,170,000 x 3 = $6,510,000 for the quarter. This is a 77% increase over the last quarter just on "Unique visitors".
With the Christmas rush, we will be very comfortably looking at a 100% jump!!!
Not surprising considering they are the exclusive movie retailer for fortunecity.com, women.com, myway.com and gay.com. And they have banners on a bundle of other sites aswell.
I reckon the share price will rocket up over the coming months. (It's already starting to)
Then the company will have lots of options to explore vis-a-vis selling other products "
