Does this mean that Sue will never be able to walk again? Is she still in so much pain? I didn't realize the injury was so serious.

Will they get her up and out of bed every day for just a few minutes?

Have you sold the horses? Do you have to tell Sue that you sold them? She was very attached to them.

If the bone infection does not respond quickly to oral antibiotics, should you ask about an antibiotic IV drip? Maybe, you could ask others on SI who have medical experience.

I wish I could help but I don't know anything about serious injuries.
