Depend on how you define Interactive TV. My TV is interactive I push a button and the channel changes. My Cable box is interactive in the same way but I also get mail on it (GI DCT-2000) when the cable company has news for me. I would define Interactive TV at a minimum to have two way interaction. WebTV give you this. GI'2 DCT-5000 box gives you this. Pace box gives you this. How much interactivity will depend on the servers at the headend as well. SFA's Pegasus box will be interactive... So the short answer to your question is no, this does not mean that GI and SFA boxes are not interactive.
